time lock for images is a free (as in beer) Android App for temporarily hiding images. You can hide photos from yourself. You will not be able to reveal them until the preset time has elapsed.

What is the use of time lock for images?

time lock for images can be used for several different purposes. For example:

• Time lock - a combination lock of a safe could be shot, the photo could be hidden. The opening combination is revealed at a future point in time
• Deferred messages - letters could be shot; the content could be read after a certain time only

Which functions does time lock for images have?

With time lock for images, you can take pictures using the camera or select them from the gallery.

You can pick a time between one minute and 999 days. The image will be hidden for this time period. Once hidden, there is no way to show the image before the time has elapsed.

• Hides images from one minute up to 999 days
• Several images can be hidden simultaneously with different release times
• While an image is hidden a blurry thumb of the image is shown
• It is difficult to circumvent the lock. Resetting the device clock does not help
• When taking a picture using the camera or selecting one from the gallery, time lock for images shows an indication for the relative sharpness of the image
• Optional hotspot cover for camera preview
• The hide time can be extended at any time (of course it cannot be reduced)
• After images are released, they can be hidden again
• Random factor: You can choose to hide the image for a random time up to a maximum time
• Hide release time - you can choose to hide the release time
• (New in 2.0:) Backup site: Optional backup of your images on the time lock for images backup site. Allows you to access your images even if the android device has failed

Privacy Policy / Data Protection

time lock for images uses the following functions of your device which may affect personal data or privacy:

• Camera: You can shoot photos from within time lock for images. They are used within the app. Those images are used within time lock for images only. If you have switched on the image backup function, the images are copied to the time lock for images backup web site. They are not copied or transferred anywhere else.
• External memory: With time lock for images, you can access images which are stored in your device or in external memory (SD card), for use within the app. Time lock for images also offers to delete individual images from such memory after they have been imported into time lock for images. Accessing this memory and deletion of files only happens on explicit action done by the user on an individual basis. Imported images are used withing time lock for images only. They are not copied or transferred anywhere else.
• Internet Connection: time lock for images uses the internet connection for

  • synchonization of data with the time lock for images backup site, if switched on by the user
  • and to show news about time lock for images (accesses the time lock for images web site).
